Who We Are.jpg

Christ Our Redeemer Lutheran Church is a family of believers united by God’s Word and faith in Jesus Christ. We are not a group of perfect people; instead, we are flawed individuals who gather regularly to celebrate the forgiveness, comfort and hope that we have been given freely through Jesus. We believe that it is our privilege to share the good news of these blessings with those around us. In view of this we come together to worship, grow, and support one another as we serve our El Paso and Fort Bliss communities.

Fellowship

Life is better together, and fellowship is a big part of who we are. As a church family, we truly love each other because God first loved us. You see it in the way we greet and treat each other, and how we enjoy each other’s company. We want to  share that same love with you – God’s love in Jesus Christ our Savior.

How good and pleasant it is when God’s people live together in unity!
— Psalm 133:1

community

As God’s people, we are called to be Christ's body on earth - not just in the church, but within our community and our society. We love the diverse and friendly culture of El  Paso, and we strive to support our city by  participating in and hosting community events  as well as through sharing the resources God  has given us.

Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms.
— 1 Peter 4:10

Military & Veterans

We value the current and past Servicemembers of our military. We are here to serve the men and women who are stationed at Fort Bliss, our Veterans, and their families. For those who are deployed, we can offer devotions and other spiritual help materials sent in the mail or by email upon request.

The Lord gives strength to his people;
the Lord blesses his people with peace.
— Psalm 29:11
